Twixmas – It’s that time between Christmas and New Year when nobody knows what day it is! The perfect time to escape the house (and the turkey sandwiches). Why not book a table to catch up with friends, warm up after a walk on the common or for a cosy dinner.
New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance – featuring live music with talented local band ‘To the River’ playing in the bar. Now this is a night we are very excited about! Normal service during the day and early evening. From 7pm in the restaurant we will be running our four-course special menu at £69.50 per head. There will be live music, a dj set and of course dancing! We will also be selling a limited number of bar tickets at £30 each which will include a glass of fizz and hot nibbles.
New Year’s Day 2026 – Kick start the new year with freshly ground coffee, a reviving Bloody Mary and a decent lunch! We are open from 12 noon for you to continue the celebrations

Monday 24th November– Silent Pool Gin festive dinner & tasting – Join us for a fun and educational festive evening hosted by our friends from Silent Pool Distillery. What a great way kick start the party season!
Monday 1st December – Live Singing on our terrace 7pm & 8pm hosted by Chobham Rock Choir. Wrap up warm and join us for singing, candles & complimentary mince pies.
Saturday 6th December– Horsell Christmas Market 12-4pm & Horsell Village School Christmas Fair. A fun start to Christmas with two festive fairs in the village this year! Great for Christmas shopping and lots of fun. Warm up here before, during or afterwards with mulled drinks & hot chocolate or book a table for lunch in our restaurant or bar. As usual we will be selling jars of our delicious ‘Horsell Christmas Chutney’ for charity.
Monday 8th December – Speed Quizzing Dinner. We welcome back Andrew Ritchie who will be entertaining us with his clever form of quizzing. This month is an extra special festive evening. Only £28 including two courses and an arrival drink. Booking essential!
Monday 15th December – Live Cabaret Music in the bar. Join us for a few drinks and a ‘Festive Cabaret Supper’ in the bar, hosted by the brilliant ‘Si & Matt’. We will be offering a special set menu from 6pm. Alternatively there will be plenty of space at the bar if you want to pop down!
Christmas Eve – ‘Twas the night before Christmas’. Santa’s Elves will be visiting around 5pm for our younger customers with a sack full of goodies. We will be running our a-la-carte menu all day.
Christmas Day – The perfect opportunity to wear your Christmas jumper! The restaurant is now fully booked but our bar will be open 12-3pm for drinks. We are closed in the evening.
Boxing Day – We will be closed & giving our hardworking team a well earned day off!
Saturday 27th December – Back open from 11am & raring to go!
