Covid 2020 Policy

We thought you might like to know some of the  measures we have introduced, these may feel a little strange at first, but we hope that this new normal will not change our amazing pub experience. 

To protect the health and well-being of our staff and customers, all customers must be seated at a table and conform to current government social distancing guidelines.

We have reviewed our table spacing to incorporate social distancing and updated our booking system.  You are now able to book a table for up 8 people online. We encourage you to book in advance but will, of course, be taking walk-ins whenever possible – but to avoid disappointment, it’s best to book.

On arrival and departure from the pub we would appreciate it if you could sanitise your hands at the points by the entrances.  Sanitiser will also be available on each table and by the entrance to the toilets.

Our toilets will be thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis.  You may prefer to wear a mask in the toilets as it’s not always easy to social distance.

We have updated all our risk assessments.

We are temperature checking all staff every day and filling in medical declaration forms.  Staff will be required to sanitise/wash their hands between every task.  Staff have the option to wear masks if they want to.  We will provide gloves for high risk jobs.

We request that customers provide contact details through  NHS Test & Trace to help contain COVID-19 clusters.  If you or any of your party feel unwell or are showing symptoms, please contact us so we can rearrange your booking for another time.
